News | Saddle Skedaddle confirm as 2010 Beaumont KOM Sponsor

Saddle Skedaddle www.skedaddle.co.uk  the specialist cycling and walking holiday company, based in Newcastle are sponsoring the King of the Mountains competition in the Beaumont Trophy for the second consecutive year in 2010. The competition will be decided on the climb of the Ryals. The riders will tackle this fearsome climb four times on laps one, two and three. The rider with the highest aggregate points based on 3 points first, 2 points second and one point third on each lap will become the KOM. there will be individual Prime prizes on each of these laps.

 

There has been a slight change to the route for the 2010 event with the number of laps reduced to five. The first four laps will be based around an ascent of the Ryals with a final lap on a modified version of the Ingoe Circuit.
